Hey guys,
i always have been farming smite crawlers with dervish using as support the sunspear skill [vampirism] and it works great as it is indipendent, steal health and i get healed.
Today i decided to try to use the ritualist build with [vengeful was khanhei] + [vengeful weapon] and i added some dervish skills to keep health up when Khanhei is recharging......plus i added as always [vampirism] but i noticed that the spirit that should last 140 secs, expires really quickly.......

The question is: is there any reason concerning ritualist skills (cos i'm not so used to play rit) or it's just an anomaly???

It's low levelled, therefore I'd assume the monsters would target it first, therefore it'd die very quickly?

You're not using [Signet of Creation] or similar, are you?

Is the spirit being attacked? I ask this because spirits generally have low health, low armor and are of a low level.

I'm not using any ritualist skill related to spirits and foes don't target it...Spirit is lvl 9 cos i'm rank 9 on Sunspear title track, so the spirit last 140 sec.

Before trying this new build there wasn't any problem and the spirit expired much later then the smities were dead.

Looks more like a gamebug or something....as i don't know anyone else using [vampirism] to farm smite crawlers, noone else reported this.

Just remembered, the smites have [Shield of Judgment] on their skill bar.

So when Vamp hits it, it gets hurt. Not as much is it normally would since it heals it's self but still.

Yea, I think this is why it expires so fast. Can't think of anything else.

Most likely that coupled with [smite hex] if he has a hex on his skill bar.

teh only thing i can think of...

u used it on ur derv and had no probs
u tried it on ur rit, and u feel like its expiring too fast

sunspear isnt an account-wide title
perhaps ur rit has a low sunspear rank?

did u try it again wit ur derv afterwards and still have teh prob?

.....stupid question i did......I forgot that the other times I have [rending aura] so i strip their [shield of judgment] and the spirit doesn't take any dmg....

@snaek: i use the dervish not a ritualist

Get used to a build and........
